A couple of weeks ago, I witnessed an engagement. It was between one of my relatives and his fianceé. The two have been together for a few years, and he felt like they should escalate it. This event transpired at a party, at my uncle's house. It is something that will be hard to forget.
I was at my uncle's house, and I saw a group of people gathered around someone. The person in the center was my older cousin. I didn't understand what was happening. I followed everyone outside, where his girlfriend was, and everyone stopped at the doorway. My cousin continued and got onto his knees. He made some promises to his girlfriend, and he proposed.
